Happy Host may use automated and artificial intelligence-powered technology to provide certain services.

Restaurant Information and Reservations

Happy Host may provide restaurant information, availability information, or links to third-party reservation platforms.

Restaurant availability, reservation confirmations, hours, menus, pricing, policies, and other restaurant information may be provided by restaurants or third-party services and may change.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Happy Host does not guarantee restaurant availability or that a reservation will be successfully completed.

Text Messaging Terms

Happy Host may offer informational and transactional SMS text messaging as part of its services.

You may opt in to receive a text message by specifically requesting one during a telephone conversation or through another Happy Host interaction.

For example, you may ask Happy Host to send a restaurant reservation or booking link to your mobile phone.

By requesting and consenting to receive a text message, you authorize Happy Host to send the requested informational or transactional message to the mobile number you provide or confirm.

Message frequency: Messages are sent in response to your requests. Typically, one message is sent per request, although additional messages may be sent when necessary to complete the requested interaction.

Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

SMS Verbal Opt-In Process

Happy Host sends informational and transactional text messages only when a guest specifically requests or consents to receive a text message during a telephone conversation.

Example verbal opt-in:

Happy Host: “Would you like Happy Host to text the reservation link to your phone? Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out”

Guest: “Yes.”

Happy Host: “Great. I’ll text you the reservation link now.”

Happy Host sends the requested text message only after the guest provides affirmative consent. The message is sent to the mobile number provided or confirmed by the guest.

Message frequency: Typically one message per request. Additional messages may be sent when necessary to complete an interaction requested by the guest.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Opting Out of Text Messages

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a message.

After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will not receive additional SMS messages unless you subsequently provide consent to receive them again.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS Privacy

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and text messaging consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except with service providers that assist in providing the messaging service and only as necessary to deliver the services requested by you.

Third-Party Services

Availability of the Service

We work to keep Happy Host available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.

Happy Host is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of restaurant information supplied by restaurants or third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Happy Host will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
